Massage is an ancient therapy used for thousands of years and is categorised as an Holistic Therapy because it treats the person as a whole, both in mind, body and spirit.

Holistic massage uses techniques based on Swedish massage and is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body.

Effects and benefits of massage

The most obvious benefit from massage that people tend to think of is the relief of tension in achey muscles but the benefits run much deeper that this alone.

As well as the soothing effects of massage on musculature, the techniques also stimulate many systems within the body and may help to, amongst other things:
